Steven E. Peterson

Mr. Peterson has over 20 years experience in sales, new product planning, market development, brand management, and business planning in the pharmaceutical and allied health care sectors.  He has worked in virtually all therapeutic areas, and has familiarity with the needs and issues of large companies as well as emerging biotechnology companies.  

An Affiliate Expert of TCG and independent consultant, Mr. Peterson has experience in drug development and has successfully commercialized products in a number of therapeutic areas and markets.  Companies he has worked for include GlaxoSmithKline, Glaxo, Eli Lilly, TRANA Discovery and Solvay Pharmaceuticals.  . 

Products and brands Steve helped develop and manage include Ceftin®, Epivir®, Epivir-HBV®, Zinacef®, Fortaz®, Lotronex®, Tritec®, Wellferon®, Valtrex®, Relenza®, Raxar® and Ultiva®. two Tribactams, Zofran® and a neuraminidase inhibitor. 

Mr.. Peterson has been a member of the International AIDS Communication Task Force, and uses  knowledge and contacts with KOLs to assimilate and distill diverse knowledge sets into cohesive messages and value propositions. 

He received his bachelors degree from Indiana University and completed post graduate studies in several business schools.
